At the heart of Xtagen is a team driven by science, purpose, and the belief that better solutions for inflammation begin with better thinking. Each member brings expertise, integrity, and the shared vision to elevate how the world manages chronic inflammation — naturally.

Joe founded Southern Ocean Biotech in 2017 with a mission to unlock the health potential of marine resources.  With a background in the seafood and biotechnology industries, he has been instrumental in building the company’s vision and infrastructure.

With over 30 years of experience across the international pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industry, He founded Xania with a singular vision — to bring purpose-led, clinically sound products like Xtagen to the world stage. His leadership bridges deep industry insight with a relentless drive to create real-world health solutions that transcend borders

Simone is a molecular nutrition expert at CSIRO and the lead scientist behind Abagen®. 
Her 15+ years of research on abalone bioactives forms the scientific backbone of our product.

Jordan leads the commercialization of Abagen®, overseeing product strategy, brand development, and partner engagement. 
He brings deep experience from the seafood industry and nutraceutical sector.

Tess manages all creative direction, content design, and brand communications for Southern Ocean Biotech. 
She plays a key role in shaping the visual identity of Abagen®.

Hannah is in charge of Southern Ocean Biotech’s internal product line, focusing on brand building, packaging, and customer experience for the house brand.

Stewart oversees all production activities at our facility in Portland, ensuring strict quality control and consistency in every batch of Abagen®.

Akshat oversees global operations and strategic execution for Xtagen™, working closely with partners and scientific teams to bring the product to new markets.
With a background in pharmacy and a passion for evidence-based healthcare, he focuses on bridging science and accessibility in everything Xtagen™ represents.
